I've waited them for a long time and here they come ! The 1 Hz from the Grönefeld Brothers (dead second watch). The whole watch was built around this dead second complication: design, movement... you will notice the crown menu on the right: you press the ...

Thanks for the update.

Two beautiful pieces that would look great in MY box. I'll keep dreaming, it's still free. Love both, from the inside to the outside. The Gronefeld is a cool looking watch, something different with a special flavor. I would go for the WG one. The less att...

Similar quantities also...

The Gronefeld comes in 12 pieces in white metal (named the 1912), but it is SS, not WG; there will be 20 in RG (named the 'Dune'). The Tuscar sees 10 pieces in WG (the 'One of Ten', all sold) and also an LE of 20 in RG. Personally, the dial on the SS Gron...

Astonishing creations

But what do you think of their fraction production quantity, pplater? those numbers are per year or all in all?! Faisal

That's all up, faisal...

...but then again, it's not as if they have marketing divisions, sales divisions, engineering and design divisions, accountants, executives or a factory floor! Cheers, pplater.

I find the Tuscar particularly attractive... so nice...

In love with both of these watches since the very first announcements!

The Gronefeld's offer of a cool dead seconds watch (I dig the movement so much!) is mouthwatering! Especially in steel! You know the dead seconds is my favorite complication, so this watch was on my radar in a big way! What's not to love? As for the Tusca...

We must agree to differ, EHH...

... your shots are flawless!! Those are exquisite renderings of a very attractive watch, although (as said elsewhere) the SS seems much more cohesive than the RG. Bravo again - thank you for favouring us with those magnificent photos. Cheers, pplater.

You said it, pplater. Those images are amazing, EHH!

I am really pleased with how the shots came out. Having said that, I think the Grönefeld stock photo's are great too. Often stock photo's have an artificial touch to them, like they are computer generated renderings. Edwin

Intriguing!

They are both intriguing. Any more info - spec, size, etc.? Thank you for letting us know, FX! Ken

Nice pics...

Based on these pics alone, I think the offerings from both these independents look awesome.
