My Pair of Royal Oak Jumbos

 By: rcrosen88 : October 13th, 2010-19:52
Thanks to fellow forum member Mostel, who was kind enough to sell me his Royal Oak Jumbo 15002, I am now the proud owner of two fantastic Jumbos. I have owned the 15202 for a couple of years and it has been my favorite watch and has gotten a lot of wrist ...

One thing is certain ...

You have a big love affair with the RO! Adding a ,jumbo to your pair of Jumbos? Why not! You will have a superb trio of a mythic watch. Congratulations on these 2 beauties. Best, Nicolas

That's a delightful duo! I would consider the 15002 to be one of the APs I most enjoy and desire to add to my collection. Enjoy the new watch! Cheers, Daos

You need the 14802 AKA jubilee

Great pair!

Gorgeous duo... I think you should certainly start the hunt for a 5402! The Logo at 6pm will make a great trio of iconic Royal Oaks... I keep seeing pictures of the 15002s and it's starting to make me want to trade my blue 15300 for a 'base' RO... Wear th...

What could be better?

You have done what I have considered doing myself -- pairing a 15202 with a 15002. Both are magnificent. I can see why the 15202 has been your favorite. The 15002 has likewise become mine. There is nothing quite like these Royal Oaks. Mine wishes you and ...

Thanks for the responses

Thanks to all for the kind words. In response to Respo - I really appreciate the beauty of the 15202, specifically the ability to admire the infamous Cal 2121. However, the thinner profile and the amazing Clous de Paris dial make the 15002 the winner in m...

I hope you get some responses and advice

...on hunting the 5402. There have been some threads here in the past related to such searches for this iconic watch, so perhaps do a search here and on the sister Network54 site. I don't blame you for being cautious about hunting a 5402. I have held off ...

Congrats,

Beautiful duo of early RO's! Just curious, what are their serial numbers if you don't mind me asking? Am interested to find the earliest A-series on the forum. Congrats again!

A-Serie

 By: only5402 : October 29th, 2010-02:25
ok - some words to my two exemplares. Both A-Serie. History is a little bit different: The one on the left site: Number between 1500 and 1600. Revision by AP ca. 2005 (I don´t know exactly at the moment). The hands and the crown (now with AP-Logo) had bee...

 By: only5402 : October 30th, 2010-06:46
in some posts here about AP RO I found that G F ist Guy Freres and I absorbed that. A long time I wondered, that I can´t find what it means. So now I have to correcte that instead of publishing that mistake furthermore. It is: Gay Freres! (today I found t...
