I see the "evolution" here....

 By: KIH : February 4th, 2014-07:40
... I like very much some of them, but not so much for some. Mine is a very primitive - almost "dinasour" period for today's DB, but I love it. Ken ...

"primitive"

 By: small-luxury-world : February 4th, 2014-10:57
I would love that piece and I think it is far from being primitive, my friend. The De Bethune DNA was already there and that is only one reason why I love that brand - they stick to their own approach of watchmaking/design. It needs guts to do so and is r...

Thank you, Oliver!

 By: KIH : February 4th, 2014-16:44
.. to me, this is the "basic" three hands watch, white guilloche dial, three blued hands.... what more would one need as a basic watch? Wonderful watch - I asked them how many they ended up making this model - the answer was "27". Wow. Lucky me! And those...

The first and the fifth for me, please. Aaah, you don't gift them?

and you pictures honor them at the highest point. The new DB28 Digitale seems different and so beautiful. The live experience must be very interesting. I always liked the DBS but was not very keen on the Dream watch version because of the heavy bottom cas...

"DB28 Digitale" & "DW 5"

 By: small-luxury-world : February 4th, 2014-11:07
The first is a beauty, even when it is one the big side. More to come ... pictures & thougths - some time soon. The latter is just perfect like it is; for what it is - a piece of art. I was afraid that it would be bigger and so I was pleased when I sa...

Great shots Oliver

 By: andrewluff : February 4th, 2014-12:28
The Debethune collection was so strong this year (and its not even Basel!) that it is hard to choose... OK not that difficult... the new Digitale and the grey dialed QP... WOW!!! Thanks for reminding me... Cheers Andrew

My pleasure, Andrew!

:-) Cheers, Oliver

I will refrain from additional comment..as you all know what I think?

 By: moc : February 4th, 2014-12:59
Whats amazing is the capability of coming out with so many novelties EVERY YEAR,actually even twice a year. Digitale…wow! DW1 ….well lets recap a bit about this piece..here you have the possibility to regulate the watch to the second, according to your lif...

Nice strap! [nt]

 By: cen@jkt : February 5th, 2014-06:49

Ronald, both are comfortable on the wrist - in general.

 By: small-luxury-world : February 5th, 2014-01:30
The main difference is the size and the shape of the case. One needs slightly bigger wrists ... at least to my taste. Oliver

Great DB photos [nt]

DB15 and dial finish

By: Mark in Paris : February 9th, 2014-05:08
Hey Oliver, it's the first time I realize the dials of BD25QP vs DB15 are not finished the same. I thought the dials were the same. Maybe I have a preference for the DB25QP's... Thanks for the addtional pics.

Pretty much the same, even if there were a few guillochet iterations

 By: moc : February 9th, 2014-13:23
on the DB15 DB25QP is the top of my list now,I always admired De Bethune Guillochet dials....and I don t have one. I coud for a perfect trio, the grey dial wg is superb but the salmon plat case is the top. mo

I love it too.

By: Mark in Paris : February 10th, 2014-05:44
The DB25 case, plus the balanced dial layout.... And yes I thought they were all the same, ie "guillochet". Seems I was wrong ;)

It s a hard contender to salmon dial with blue numerals..... Mmmmmm hard choice. Mo

WOW!

Thanks for this amazing thread and everybody for sharing! I am in the middle of a full-blown "girl crush" on DB right now and this made me feel a lot better... Glad I'm not the only one!!

Hi Mo, I believe this to be an early watch.

Tim, thanks a lot for sharing your pictures ...

and passion with us. The DB15QP has the same complication as the DB25QP, but comes with a different movement. I like them both :-) Oliver

Indeed, as I said prior, I love this execution!

DB22 help needed!

 By: secretlife : February 14th, 2014-10:38
This is a last ditch effort and I hope I'm not infringing any rules (I'm fairly new to PPro) but here goes: Have been searching for a DB22 in Ti with grey dial (I missed the boat on this one) and figured this would literally be the best place in the world...

Thank you for the nice shots Oliver. The first one is...
