In a world where luxury is increasingly mass-produced, our mission is to help extraordinary artists that, on their own, are reinventing the future of watchmaking.
F.P. Journe and the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants have partnered to launch the Young Talent Competition and offer watchmaking apprentices the opportunity to demonstrate their skills by entering this global contest.

In celebration of the AHCI’s 30th anniversary in 2015, the competition has been extended to include 47 watchmaking schools from 14 different countries; and 33 AHCI watchmakers from 11 countries will assess and select the very best. The winning creations will be presented by Mr. Journe and the AHCI Committee at Baselworld 2015, and have the privilege of being exhibited alongside the AHCI.

Even when it might be too late for attending, I thought some of you here should be interested in the competition. In case you haven´t been aware of the competition, have a look in Basel and here afterwards.

It is always good to support and invest in the future ... smile

Looking forward to the new pieces and the young watchmakers!
