Quite a stupid thing to do
Watches have serial numbers and service tracking.
Rare watches are not serviceable by 'Mom & Pop' repairers.
How are they going to 'fence' the goods unless its for personal use only.....
That is why the smart robber steals jewellery to be broken into gem stones. Even then, some stones have laser engraved serial numbers.
On the other hand, the smart shop owner installs bullet proof glass or at least security laminated glass that does not shatter....no?
