Continuing fabulous report by fernando, I met Olivier Muller today here in Tokyo. Not much words necessary. Just additional pics and a few short videos for your viewing pleasure. The new model - micro rotor - is wonderful. You have to see it to believe it.
Nice lunch to start with....
Oh, this is not LF
Very nice pair.
I like the sharp index. 40mm case size is just about right.
There are four (4) patterns - WG with gray dial
WG with silver dial
RG with gray dial
and RG with silver dial
This is my fav.
No thick at all.
This will be the back of the final product (meaning, the pieces brought this time are all prototype without any Geneva stripe or engraving on the back).
...but some close-ups of important parts. Micro rotor sandwiched by the bridge.
Micro rotor from different angle.
Balance wheel
... and Galet Tourbillon Classic again (with drooling....)
Now, Galet Tourbillon Secret
Essentially the same movement as Galet Classic
Wow, thick!
This pushed on the crown can open and close the "curtain", too, while the open/close time can be set by the owner.
Enamel and hand painting. You can order other painting like Panda or Penguin
Below are from the press kit - Mr. Ferrier and Mr. Ferrier
Mr. Navas and Mr. Barbasini - formerly of BNB Concept ("N" is Mr. Navas, the last "B" is Mr. Barbasini) - now set up a new company "La Fabrique du Temps" which now works with LF. The company as well as these two gentlemen are the partners of LF.
The team.
Different dial pattern of Galet Secret
Now there are three short videos. You may have already seen it elsewhere, but for those who have not - informative and fun to watch. They are all short, so enjoy!

Great post KIH! Thank you for all the photos of this super watch! Just can't wait to see the new micro-rotor in person and gawk at the beautifully finished watch.
and I start to think how you manage to sleep after seeing all these beauties, recently The "final" movement on the iPad looks very promising. Any ideas about pricing? Thanks for sharing with us! Oliver
Thanks so much for this thorough report and the great photos -- especially the movement close-ups. Very impressive! I also like the direction they are taking on movement decoration (as shown on Olivier's iPad). Very cool! Best, Gary
in the metal is truly amazing, the pictures are a great start, but they must be seen to believed. Nice article and great picture of the team. Best to all, Tim
...Laurent Ferrier watches. The micro-rotor is going to be a hot model for them IMO. I like all three models, although don't think the screen version is very wearable. Still, the enamel painting on the lower level is amazing. Thanks for the report, Ken! C...
Love the tourbillon, and have tried this in the metal. Don't like the dial of the time only watch from the pics. Price point is good compared to some other simple independent watches.
The Classic Tourbillon with black dial that was on your wrist is my favorite piece -- great looking contrast with the white hands and numbers. Layout of the movement looks like Ferrier has borrowed some ideas from his days at Patek, though much nicer deco...
The renowned enameler Anita Porchet is now working with LF. The early "prototype" was possibly done by others or was just "prototype". Anita had been persistently lured to be hired by Patek while she was/is working for Patek models, but she insisted on be...
