I cant say that it is by design, but it seems that I am on a five year plan when it comes to visiting Le Sentier. In 2005 I made my first journey into the Vallee de Joux for a meeting with Philippe Dufour, whose Simplicity watch was all the rage (and see...

A lovely visit for a lovely watch.

Truly an amazing watch. The polishing on the tourbillon bridge is so exquisite. And the design is equally inspired.

One aspect of this watch that I truly appreciate....

is that the movement and design are so integrated. We don't often see that in this day. Bill

Beautiful piece- what a privilege to pick it up in person!!

10 minutes is not nearly enough. :-( Bill

I never get tired of seeing the back.

It's very special. Some might not like the single piece back but the full semi circle geneva wave is very 3 dimension in person. When you catch them at the right reflection they look like steel rods lined up next to one another.

Areed on the effect of the stripes...

they are truly magnificent. Bill

Have you ever spent time with Daniel?

My not speaking French makes communication with him challenging. If he had stories to share I'd love to hear them via your lens. Bill

A superb watch and a beautiufl story

in platinum, that was in final control before going to the client, who I hope will share some photos on the forum. We only seem to have photographs of the round one. Bill

and a great story. I am tempted to get one. I was wondering what is the warranty period and where one sends the watch for serving in the future? Does JDN has any authorized service center in US .

Five year warranty......

I took the watch back to Daniel for service, as there is no one stateside to do such work in an authorized fashion. Bill
