Finally! Some (lousy) shots of the new Laurent Ferrier time only to be unveiled on Wed
Mar 21, 2011,03:16 AM
OK so after the poor scan of the caliber here are some poor scans of the finished watch The case will be 40mm and thinner than the tourbillon. Some small changes have also been made to the case.
The watch will be available in either silver or slate grey in white or rose gold.
The caliber is still the prototype and lacking the Geneva waves and finish on the rotor.

Thanks for the photos. The slate grey dial looks very nice with the rose gold case. Regards, Richard.
Well thanks anyways

It is really a lovely watch. I prefer lousy shots rather than no shots at all. Regards, George
What lousy shots?

They're not lousy at all! Thanks for showing us! Interesting watch from Laurent. Movement really is intriguing.
Ronald, you've nailed it...

you own ability to judge the quality of your shots ;-)! Thanks a lot, I guess that'll be one of the show's highlights! Best, Magnus

I appreciate LF's classical style, in both the tourbillon and now this simple watch (though not with a simple escapement). Bill
It looks very intersting

The movemnt looks fantastic. I think its great that he chose to go a bit against the stream of the independants and make an Automatic rather than a simple handwound- MIcrorotor, even - a nice Idea and it looks superb. I love his case design. It looks very...
Wow!

Looks nice, but

from the quick pics does not get me nearly as excited as some other 3 hand watches. Somehow the dial aesthetics, baton/toothpick markers, hands, more "matte" dial don't fall into place nearly as well together as the elements of the tourbillon dial. I coul...
Thanks for these, Alex!

Really appreciate these early images. I really like the innovation in the micro-rotor movement. The cost for this is that the case (at least in these initial shots) looks perhaps a bit thick for the rounded shape (although not on the level of the cheesebu...
This watch is amazing!!

Even though I prefer modern designed watches to classical ones, I must say I love this one. The caliber is also really original and innovative in it's layout . Kind Regards, TDo
Nice watch. I like it.

An elegant dressy piece with a gorgeous and stunning movement. Would change the crown, I don't like it. It does not match the rest of the watch, to me. Thanks. Vte
