Villeret Watches

Mike,
You can also request a watch from your local boutique if you know what you want.
I first saw the model I wanted in Beverly Hiils when we finally decided to get it we made the acquisition through the San Francisco boutique. MontBlanc was extremely helpful and since my oldest had graduated from UCLA I no longer had a reason to be in LA every couple of months. It's always easier to shop close to home.

Montblanc Retail Distribution

I was wondering how Montblanc watches (especially the higher-end models, e.g. the in-house chrono and the Minerva models) are distributed. I've been in a few Montblanc stores and they only have the lower-end models. Are they restricted to certain boutique...

The Villeret Collection is only distributed

to select Montblanc boutiques with the potential customers who can support these pieces. A few special independent retailers are also hand picked. Best, Mike

You are right but you've got to be a serious buyer and be in a major market...

To take it down a notch, many Montblanc boutiques don't even have a Rieussec in stock. To see a Rieussec some MB boutique managers have requested a small "refundable" deposit from the customer before ordering. Best, Mike

Interesting...

so Vienna is a major market! I fell honoured to live here... ;-) Cheers, Magnus

:-) Perhaps also the transport of these watches in Europe is easier?

I know it is a big headache to transport the Villerets overseas. Perhaps that is why the distribution is so limited in the US. Maybe it is easier in Europe so we see a better distribution? Cheers, Mike
