Been trying out a newly acquired fisheye lens of late And also been a while since I posted. Just wondering if any PuristS here are into that ? Any practical tips? Cheers folks ! ...

Where is the location could I ask? See, the reason I've generally not warmed to fisheye lenses is that they're typically used in a fairly gratuitous fashion, should that make sense. Unsure whether that's the correct word or not, but what I mean to say is ...

As esharp eluded to, it's the Holiday Inn Singapore. Not the fanciest hotel, but the atrium looks great now.

While it's not a lens that I would use on a regular basis, I have seen some extremely well done shots with a fisheye... and therefore I would not discount this type of lens... Photos that were about content not fisheye rendering... e.g. the Milky Way with...

Thing is the only way to get any decent photos is that direction. Not quite getting the hang of it yet ....
