Is there still that unbearable quality in the lightness of being for the RM035?

When the RM027 first appeared on the scene, I was fortunate enough to be provided with the one of the prototypes to try out. (http://richardmille.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-18/pi-3766246/ti-602166/s-0/) At the time I thought it was an act of brill...

Fantastic photos, the contrast with the snow is vers nice This watch is really one of the best Richard Mille, light, true encurance tests like what can be done in the industry. High tech in every way. I really love it, (much more than the recent novelties...

Great post Andrew !

I think you found the perfect context for this watch! Love your black and white pics ! Fx

Thanks for the kind words. It is a very 'pure' watch in the

sense that it has only three hands, but has a lot of 'hidden' technology that enables the watch to withstand the elements and shocks. I do love it so for that reason! Thanks again Andrew H

What a delightful write-up

Thank you so much Andrew. Your pictures and review has made me fallen in love with the RM 35 more! I have been considering both the RM 11 and RM 35 as my next watch purchase. Initially I had decided on the RM 11 titanium, but honestly now I don't know. I ...

Best advice I can offer is to try both and go with the one that

speaks to you. I am not that into chronos, so for me, an easy choice. If you are into chronos, then the RM035 might be too simple for you. However, as a watch, I would always take the RM035 over the RM011 as a personal preference. Good luck and let us kno...

Thanks

Thanks Andrew. Great review and fantastic pictures.

A very deep overview of what is the RM035

I had great pleasure in reading this and following how this watch has been developed. Not knowing about the technical aspects of an RM is leaving out what is fundamental. The RM035 is for me the first RM (in term of price) that really respects the RM coll...

Many thanks Mark. I agree in some sense - there is a lot

of learning on other models that has been boiled down into the RM035, and the quality shows. Cheers! Andrew H

Always annoying to have an itch you cannot scratch! So

go along to a registered dealer and see what they have in stock! Andrew H

Love it.

That's a very nice substitute for the RM27. Looks fantastic, Thanks. Vte

Not sure its a substitute - although not everyone can afford

Yes, that was the point. :)

might this be the perfect one? i love the description and the beauty of it. sounds like a real winner. maybe i should sacrifice my whole collection for something so wonderful!

If you love your collection, then perhaps not. But, if

the collection no longer speaks to you, then why not! Think carefully though before the decision is made! Andrew H

i love my collection

i love what i've got, but that rm is so cool it does make the heart skip a beat. don't we all make mistakes from time to time for the sake of love? thank goodness i'm grown up enough now to know that sometimes these sentiments calm down. chris

I WAS SO SURE I WANTED THE RM 035, WAS IN SPORE IN JANUARY AND THEY HAD THE PROTOTYPE AVAILABLE. ASETHETICALLY ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WATCH FROM RM , MY COMPLIMENT TO RM FOR THEIR TECHNOLOGY, REALLY REALLY AMAZED BY HOW LIGHT THE PC IS. BUT THATS WHERE...

fantastic write up. When I first heard about this watch I was quite upset. Owning an RM27 as I did at the time I felt cheated that I'd spent such a sum on one yet here was an alternative for a 6th of the price! Now that the dust has settled, I'm fully awa...

Thanks Tom. Personally, I have always thought that the

 By: 219 : February 29th, 2012-10:29
technology in the RM027 was more far-reaching that the RM035. Especially the case, the use of aluminium lithide (or something like that) for the movement parts, and the shock testing that went on to see if the movement could withstand the 1000G shock test...

Thanks - we are all entitled to our opinions - and fair enough.

RM027 remains the superior watch, but with only a limited series and a 'more than mortal' price tag, it was a difficult ask for the more mortal among us. The RM035 brings with it the same concentration of R&D and new technology, but at a more accessib...
