Hello Daos, the diamond is not used as a cap jewel. Diamonds are not soo good in this function cause they are too hard. The watch has also an shock-proof system for the balance axis. This system works with rubin as a deck cap under the diamond. If you com...

I appreciate the information! That is so interesting that the properties we often extol in diamonds -- its tremendous hardness, make it less suitable for purposes such as cap jewels. The Albert is an amazing timepiece, and I'm very grateful for the inform...
