PART I: Videos and pics from PuristSPro's 5-Watchmaker event on October 8, 2007
Here are pics and video clips from PuristSPro's 5 Master Watchmaker event, co-sponsored by Jackson Square, this past Monday at the private Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles.
5 watchmakers in attendance:

- AHCI candidates John & Stephen McGonigle
- AHCI candidate Nicolas Delaloye along w/ brother Christophe Delaloye
- Habring² - Maria and Richard Habring
- AHCI Master Watchmaker Vianney Halter
After our delicious meal (pictures on that in an upcoming thread), the watchmakers came up to the podium for a Question & Answer session. Unfortunately, the Habrings had to leave at this time to catch a red-eye flight back home so Richard wasn't able to make it to the Q&A session.

Christophe Delaloye speaking on behalf of his brother Nicolas, who doesn't speak fluent English right now, on how his passion for watches started when he was a child.
Peter Speake-Marin tells us briefly why he became a watchmaker.
Lady Purist Meehna Goldsmith asks the watchmakers what are their dream watches, and Peter Speake-Marin gives his praise to mystery man extraordinaire Thomas Mao, founder of ThePuristS (TM intentionally not in view while speaking)
Purist Dr. Mitch Katz asks the watchmakers about using existing movements
