I spent with Forvesta a couple of hours yesterday, looking at some marvellous watches...
Here are the De Bethune.
Well, some days ago, we spoke about that weird assymetrical lugs...
Still not my cup of tea, but there are some more conventionnal lugs, on sport and elegant watches, the DBS...DBS, sounds familiar to me..LOL
The main question with the DBS is...WG or RG?
The RG seems a bit more dressy:
I love the design, this bezel which seems to be very inspired, a kind of classy RO AP, the dial receiving a stunning and elegant finish, these appealing hands, and an original case, much thinner than the WG version...
The treatment of the case back is not deceiving...
Now the more sporty WG version...
Yes, I thought a lot about the RO or ROO AP while looking at it...
The bezel, with these screws, is the detail which made me think of the RO...a kind of very dressy RO, don't you think so?
Note the different treatment of the dial and the hands, but the similar " air de famille" between thses 2 versions, just one more dressy, and another one more sporty...but both appealing, very appealing...
Although both Case Backs seem very similar...
And the pleasure of wearing each of them too!
Now, I'm in trouble...I think that one day I'll add a De Bethune in my collection, and there are big chances it will be a DBS...
Best!
Nicolas
