Cornelius & Cie at BaselWorld 2010
Apr 20, 2010,11:18 AM
The brand Cornelius & Cie is the brain child of two Dutchmen living in Geneva, the engraver Kees Engelbarts and jeweler Paul Pertijs.
The watches use hand decorated vintage movements, pocket watch movements. The watches size reflects this.
Although the watches are beautiful as objects, I can't imagine them really being worn because of their great size and thickness.

I can see more than the size as a limiting factor to wear this watch. Honestly, they don't appeal to me at all. I find the case unneccessarily quirky with its bud. The decoration, though, mudt be top notch. Best, Magnus
