Masahiro Kikuno and three amigos :-)

Feb 22, 2014,09:23 AM

.. so, Mr. Kikuno and three watchfool friends went to a Japanese restaurant - one independent watchmaker (soon-to-be), one watchfool journalist, and one PPro regular.

We discussed a lot about "things" but I don't remember much thanks to Sake.... anyway, here are some of the watches Kikuno-san brought.  After finishing the bronze simple watche back order, he will focus on the new project which he has finished designing.  So, stay tuned!

And, unfortunately, he is not going to be at Basel this year.....

Latest model with no name - simple bronze case model.

The one he showed at Basel 2013

I guess I was a bit drunk...  Tourbillon 2012.

for the extra pictures. Love to see the movement fill up the case. Indeed it will allow many various creations since the bridges are like blank canvases. Have to agree, always fun, with good company. Thanks. Kong

How lucky you are!!!

The first time I saw Kikuno's work I wasn't sure what to make of it. Definitely neat, interesting, impressive, etc., but I needed a bit of time to digest it. Slowly but surely, I felt myself becoming more drawn to his timepieces, methodology, etc. And the...
