Okay, so haven't posted one of these in awhile.


Have a new one on order that is currently in its nascent stages.  Very excited to follow this watchmaker's progress as things start to come together.

Any guesses?

due to the winding wheel with typical double solar finish ("Glashütter Sonnenschliff"). My first guess was Dornblüth, but may be it is from Dresden - Lang & Heyne or from Marcos father Rolf Lang?

You are correct that more than one region has been guessed in this thread. Here's a hint that I suspect will ultimately give away the secret - if I told you which guess as to region was the correct one, it is highly likely you would be able to zero in on ...

the watchmaker responsible for the work in the above scans does not hail from either the United States or Germany. I suspect this may be the clue that "breaks the camel's back". I'll post more scans as soon as I receive them, but am willing to continue en...
