Incoming: MB&F legacy machine 101

Aug 12, 2014,21:59 PM

My first Indie! I have admired Max and MB&F watches for awhile but the Horological Machines and Legacy Machines 1 and 2 were too big for my small wrist.

With the LM 101's introduction, I finally have an MB&F I can wear at 40mm.

Fx, your review some months ago also poisoned me to this watch!  :p

Some initial photos to share here when I collected the watch. I will find some time to take better photos of the dial (beautiful white lacquered sub dials that look a bit translucent) and beautiful movement finished by Kari!

Cheers

A marvelous looking watch; a fantastic move. The design is very avant-garde, with a clean but striking appearance that is so simple yet appropiately complicated. I admire independent watch manufacturers, but never have the courage to get one. Since my wat...

Did you secretly marry MY wife?

 By: cazalea : August 13th, 2014-22:18
Or her sister? I heat the same thing at my house. Cazalea

I highly suspect that there is a secret organization

called "The Union of Watch Lovers' Wives", where information and tactics of "anti- watch buying" are shared.

LOL! Cazalea...

A beautiful masterpiece and the packaging almost looks like the shielding and protection accorded to an explosive device. Congratulations again on this acquisition. Richard

I was telling my sales rep...

 By: jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) : August 13th, 2014-19:23
that the box looks like something which customs at airports will check again and again during exports/imports! :) Looks like a bomb! But it's really cool packaging. The box is not big - the outer box is huge though due to lots of form protecting the watch...

Fantastic!!

That is a wonderful catch from MB&F. You are unstoppable. I like the timepiece as I kinda like Star Trek style. Please excuse me for my expression. :) Congratulations. Thanks, Robin, for sharing this great masterpiece with us. Regards, T-suke

The watch manages so well...

 By: jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) : August 13th, 2014-19:25
to marry a futuristic star ship like front (esp with the dome crystal and the large floating balance wheel)... yet such a traditional and classic (and superbly finished) watch movement at the back. Glad you like it too and thank you for your well wishes T...

Thanks Ronald... the first Indie....
