A pair of Mosers...

Clearly brothers from the same family, but each with a different feeling.  The platinum Nomad with red GMT hand and small seconds seems more modern, while the colored gold Monard with black enamel (limited) dial  and center seconds feels more traditional to me.   The back view shows quite different movements.

Lovely pair, don't you think?

Dave

You have a hell of a collection, my friend.

I regret the Nomad has an automatic movement. When you see a Miser Manual Movement, you have tough time to not prefer it to an automatic movement, in my opinion. Impressive collection you have, my friend. Thanks for the thread! Nicolas

Thanks Nicolas

I do prefer the manual movement, but this automatic is quite nicely done as well. A reason to have both :) I have a Mayu as well, which is a few mm smaller. Will post some shots of that one also.

Yes, please, do so! [nt]

I must confess, I like the automatic movement of the Nomad. Is it the only one Moser with an automatic movement? Best regards, Thomas

Yes, i believe so. Fully in house and their first automatic (HMC 346). The movement is quite large (34mm) and fills the case nicely. On 15 Aug, 2014, at 20:33, www watchprosite < [Email address suppressed for privacy] > wrote:

Didn't make the group shot...here is my Mayu in white gold with a "delicious" dark chocolate dial. The watch is slightly smaller at 38.8 mm and a shade over 9 mm high.

Hey Dave, is the Mayu you have the "Morrone" dial?

 By: cholack : August 29th, 2014-00:19
I'm just asking as the dial looks almost black in the pictures. I, myself, am considering a Mayu with the morrone (dark brown) dial but since I've never seen it in person I have no idea what "shade" of brown it is. If you had any comments I would really a...

Yes, it is the marrone (brown) dial. I would describe it as a dark chocolate colour, but of course lighting differences show it with some variation. On 29 Aug, 2014, at 15:19, www watchprosite < [Email address suppressed for privacy] > wrote:

The black enamel dial looks great! Photography usually doesn't do enamel dials justice. I am sure that LE enamel dial Moser is a rare bird ! Congrats ! Cheers Robin
