Opus 3 box

Oct 26, 2014,08:39 AM

I was being offered a rose gold Harry Winston Opus 3 (Vianney Halter) but it comes only with a generic HW watch box. I wonder if any collectors here will help me out if it comes with a specially designed box? The owner got his watch from auction and he is no better informed than me.
Thanks in advance.
Joseph

Thanks for digging up the old picture. I read most of Dr Bernard Chong's writing about this watch but I must have missed the older ones. Joseph

Come with special boxes... so cooler than others! Of course it depends if you are going to wear the watch or wear the box ;) Good luck on your new purchase... look forward to seeing some pics if you follow through. Cheers Andrew

I wear the watch...

Hi swjoseph, I think I understand, but given how beautiful your watch is, it does not really matter whether I truly know how to read time with the dial !! LOL :-) Cheers, Gordon

We don't get to see many of those. In the world of independent horology, they don't get much more iconic than that one. Must be a lot of fun to put that one on each day. Thanks for posting these scans, and feel free to show the movement if you feel the ur...

Thanks Darren.

Indeed it feels very special just putting it on wrist. Surprisingly, it is easier to carry than many other Opus I've tried, due to its 'reasonable' size and flexible lugs. Will post some movement pic later but these isn't much visually going but adequatel...

The miracle watch!

This Opus 3 story is legendary in collector circles...and worthy of the legend. It would be difficult to pass up a mint example, if the deal made sense. Congratulations!

Thanks jmpTT
