Baselworld 2011: 50 Hz (360000 vph) escapement

Hi,

I read on Worldtempus that Zenith is preparing for Baselworld 2011 watch with 1/100 sec. chronograph, similar to TAG Heuer Mikrograph but with SINGLE 50 Hz escapement for daily timekeeping and chronograph function. It will have 40 hour power reserve. Do you have any more info?

Kind regards,
Gaspard

. . . Zenith will definitely be on everyone's radar! A mind-blowing development, to say the least . . .

I hope so

I thought it was just an aimless rumor....

but this was just confirmed on the french Zenith forum by the moderator who is typically in the know. The movement is to debut on March 24. It looks like Zenith vs. Heuer all over again! What will M. Arnault say?
