Yes, I think it’s a by-product of using the same base movement as the 3350/3357

The Classique 3757 uses the calibre 558QP, which has the same base movement (calibre 558) as the Classique 3350/3357. If you look at those references, you can clearly see the front of the base plate is engraved around the bridge of the tourbillon. My suspicion is Breguet just used those movements as is, but added the perpetual module on the dial side and covered the engraved portion with the dial.
The newer
Classique 3797 uses the updated calibre 558QP2, which seems to cut that entire part out of the base plate, and thus doesn’t have the same engraved parts.

Also hand engraved inside? Parts you normally don’t see?

To be honest I’m a bit confused Just made a nice slow motion video of a Breguet tourbillon for an Instagram post We know how the back looks But look at this screenshot I made from the video Am I confused, is this some strange reflection or is even the inn...
One of my bigger regrets…

…not buying one of these when truly nobody gave any value to them and they were so off-trend. They still represent one of the best values in Tourbillion watches, but I can’t move my head beyond the prices they used to be !!
Lol
