Now..I like Rolex.
In fact, I like them MORE today than before.
The Opus 3...it's a legend that I am a part of.
AND...besides Vianney, Max...I am probably responsible for 10% of its fame and true importance in horological art.
I will and am blunt about that...the posts, over 10, that are on this site, were the ONLY ones made in 2003, before the wrold even began the long 7 years wait.
I get mine next month.
BUT meanwhile, before I take home Opus 3....I think the most rare, 18 pieces of solid gold MB&F4 or ANY MB&F 4 is probably THE singular most distinctive watch that defines the times we live in.
A crippled recession that a watch this cool and mighty in design, could only be made in 18 pieces.
That inspite of deep poverty, art is alive.
That many brands are suffering, MB&F , being small, with a small budget, are going from strenght to strenght, selling expensive but valuable and relevant icons of art, and not bangles to show off wealth.
