Your opinions please - but please keep it respectful!

I'm a little hesitant to bring this up for pubic discussion but if not on PuristSPro, one of the most civilized and respectful communities on the WWW, then where?
Remember, someone's loved one passed away - please keep it respectful!
There is a picture circulating around on the web of one of the wealthiest men in the world, who just passed away, lying in state, with his Patek Philippe Grand Master Chime, ref. 5175, on his wrist.
My initial reaction was one of (not so pleasant) surprise - imho a moment like that really should be private, to preserve the dignity of the deceased and the privacy of his family.
But then a morbid curiosity set in - will he be buried with the watch?
Did he specifically request to be "suited" with his beloved 5175?
What goes through a long time watch collector's mind when he nears his time to journey into eternity?
I've long ago referred to two pieces as "the watches I want to be buried with" but I have never actually come "face to face" with the reality of that statement until now.
What are your thoughts?
(I have chosen not to post a copy of the picture, again, out of respect for the deceased and his family and loved ones)
