Never realized that @Pascal Coyon was participating in Watchprosite - great to hear directly from you and thanks for the very detailed reply πŸ™ .

Interesting to hear the considerations that went into the choice and the reasons for changing for the new caliber. This question of material / base plate is something that I never guess much thought to until I bought a ALS, where the 3/4 plate oxidizes. And when the watch comes back from service the patina is (partially) gone.

Thanks again for the details and please keep on making us dream with your creations!

I will come back to this one a bit later, but for now I cannot resist to the pleasure of sharing this photo of a watch which belongs to a good friend. Too bad I didn't take that train. I thought I would never get one. Best, Nicolas ...

What is important is to catch the right train...

We both missed this one, but... our common good friend smartly caught this train... and missed his actual train later in the afternoon 🀣🀣

Nico: when was this watch produced?

I’ve seen photos of his recent offerings, and the finishing appeared to be a couple of echelons higher than what I see here. Perhaps this was an earlier piece Hussam

Got it. Thanks!

It was a slower train when I missed it years back

Then it became a bullet train I thought I would never be able to catch up until a very nice collector stopped his train for me recently.

I hope this time there won't be a train story

Hi Nicolas, Thanks for sharing the picture, beautiful as always. The best way to dream is looking on a large screen at a couple of your pictures πŸ€©πŸ™. I guess one cannot get on all the trains, missed myself the Daytona one, jumped on the AP RO train too lat...
