Canadian Independent - Bradley Taylor
Mar 13, 2024,05:29 AM
Will be touring Bradley Taylor's workshop this Thursday with a group! Will try to take some pics.
For those that do not know him, he's one of Canada's only independents. He has some very cool things in the works, but here's an earlier piece of his and here's a good write up on him: watchesbysjx.com
Our population is very small in Canada compared to the US, so it's extra impressive he has managed to set up a workshop here in Vancouver and produce watches. Machinery etc is not nearly as available as even the US...and of course not even close to what you can get in big manufacturing hot zones for watches like Switzerland...

So, he makes his own hands and assembles the watch using Robertson screws. Major components are made elsewhere. As much Canadian as the Fleming is American... " Very much a made-in-Canada wristwatch , the Paragon is a classical time-only thatās assembled ...

Bradley made a Paragon for me- it is really well done. The finishing is excellent and the dial is beautiful
