Before the TOTAL OPPOSITES of watchmaking worlds collided, there was no Marc Newson. But I have been seriously collecting both seaslugs and manatees...and recently..Horizons.
If you have not ever worn a Newson watch on the wrist, you MUST try it. It can require a technique to place, but well worth the totally round feel of a pebble of solid gold or Ti...there are very few watches that one can praise the use of an ETA as the very best choice. Simplicity being key and a certain sensual presence.
Hold your breath for the DB28 soon!!!
No humour in this post, but trying out a 2008 model Lumix G with a lumix Leica macro 45mm.
Would I buy any more of these watches?
YES.
I cannot understand WHY I would love the over the top simplicity, versus my love for the insanely complex...but those long enough on these forums know my genuine interests in some of the really simple. The IWC calibre 5000 in its first guise and the IWC Portofino in its original large huge dinner plate with moonphase are good examples of my rants in the early 2003 to 2005s.
