It's more than enough!

For such a small brands, being able to STILLintruduce more novelties after a few months from SIHHis very remarkable.
And what novelties.....where to start, that sublime salmon dial tourbillon, champion of elegance and understatement,no writing,no holes, just the class of the moon phase and cased in beautiful platinum.DE Bethune at its best, not just a regular watch...but we are used to that.
Then, the fountain....there is to much to say on this series, arguably one of the most luxurious and jaw dropping I ve ever seen.
Made under commission from Hourglass,it is meant to be sold as a set(at least at the moment, future sets might be for sale individually).
Visually and technically speaking pure marvels:dials are made of pure solid gold and engraved individually in such an exquisite way that its hard not to get lost in the maze of the decorations.
The use of a precious stone in the middle is just the cherry on the cake, not a fan of stones but this shows that when done well ,the result is just stunning.
This series is different from the Mayan underworld shown at the end of the report, these watches dial layout is made in layers, giving an immense depth to the dial that oozes opulence and luxury ,even if rich, still not vulgar.
Technically, another great effort ....the hands are built on disks turning on micro ball bearings, therefore a whole new concept and caliber needed to be conceived and built.
What else can I say.......Still my favourite independent...nobody manage to be so prolific and exciting...not even some big brands.
Thanks Oliver,a pleasure to model for you.
