Glad you liked the FPJ shot -- it actually looks better on my monitor (that is, before uploading compression). That's not an easy watch to capture -- I still have not really grabbed the look of the gold dial to my liking at any of our various lunches, and will continue trying to convince the happy owner of the watch to surrender it for a photo session with me.
Agree with you on the Chrono -- it can't be easy to make the fine adjustments inherent in a chrono movement on a very small production base (if I recall correctly, weren't there only on the order of 11 of those pieces made?). Even more so for the unique piece with 45 minute register vs. 30.
And, as you say, lots of variety from Kari recently -- perhaps a bit too much for my tastes relative to completing pieces coming out under his own name, but then again you have to admire his breadth of vision.
