I put a “Shark” brand Velcro strap on my Tag Formula 1 after the original plastic strap cracked. The replacement strap’s only downside was that it started to smell as the summer went on; I worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor so the strap got wet every day. But, it was comfortable and secure, and perhaps most importantly it looked cool 😎.
If I’m not mistaken some Bund IWC Aquatimers were equipped with Velcro straps, but that’s the only OEM application I’m aware of.

I wasn’t aware that IWC made them for the “regular” GST line, although that Perpetual is anything but a “regular” watch. Huge fan 🙂.

Something about the comfort, feel or whatever. Really wanted the concept to work for me. Have some NATO, but that's as far as I can stretch
