happy ochs und junior owner

I'm a fairly recent owner of the 'inverse' of Ancienne's Annual Calendar - so mine has a patinated brass dial and seconds disk, with brass minute and hour hands with milled out indices and date dots (milling off the patinated surface reveals the bright brass underneath)... with a sturgeon leather strap.
Lovely service from Beat and co. - I was unsure which to get between my choice and the brass dial as you can see in Ancienne's (the choice of colours is also unlimited but I do like the 'grain' visible with the brass metal surface ). I'd finally arranged to visit Lucerne on my way to the UK from Thailand, and mentioned my dilemma - as well as a few other ideas/queries.
Beat suggested I could choose when I arrived - they would have both dial options available (in 39mm as I knew this is what fits me from my 39ishmm Ventura).
So... I did!
After that decision... I went for lunch across the road with Beat, while the watch was assembled.
Some Post lunch wandering around Lucerne (coach loads of Chinese watch buyers...) followed by some ochs und junior espressos - and my watch was ready. Just had to choose the spare strap.
Flew on to UK with my lovely new watch.
I'll make a proper post of it all later... my watch has a modified finish on the back of the case also, but I am on an oil rig right now... so I do have this pic
Spot the watch!
Only other pic I have with me is this one... more and a full details/review when i get back home off this oil rig in a couple of weeks...
