In this day and age, they can be forgiven for the gimmick, as long as it's a technical marvel! I would prefer the roulette be part of a tourbillion

These seem, to me at least, to be the up-to-date equivalents of the collectors pieces in the PP museum in Geneva. They're no longer timepieces, or the timepiece has become secondary, and they're more a pure expression of the engineer's skill (or the ename...
