I feel privileged to be the first to post a response to this thread, Don.
Every day I am learning more and more about Richard (and Maria) and every day I grow more impressed. I am fascinated to read about and see the evolution of his approach to the Tourbillon, and I only wish my technical knowledge were enough to appreciate the complication for more than it's spectacular (and somewhat enigmatic to the novice) beauty.

That carriage clock....
....is magnificent. I have issues with the utility of tourbillon, but not with the execution of such an fascinating mechanism. And that is a perfect execution.
