...what's the 'eye' near the hands spindle? It looked as if it might be the leap year indicator.
Must agree that the declination window is something striking and out of the ordinary. It's also great to see the Southern Hemisphere (Australasia particularly) as the focus of an 'atlas-type' dial for a change!
