Poor pictures? Tu plaisantes!
Apr 05, 2013,01:53 AM
Hi Alex,
Your pictures are great in spite of the light you seemed not to like.
We really can appreciate at a high definition the pureness of the case, the pushers' shape, the dial... (and even your face on the first one
)
Well, about the watch, it is an original layout to have this Travelling hour symmetrical to the date window, but I think it leaves the rest of the dial neat, and that is a good thing: no additional hand or sub-dial.
I think I like it that way.
Even if I leave the "simpler" Micro-rotor at the first place.
Thanks a lot for sharing this article Alex.
Cheers,
Mark

is really a beautiful piece of horology, I have never seen one in the flesh but will certainly endeavour to do so next time I am in Switzerland:) To me it looks perfect, all the details are very well tought off, the hands for example are gorgeous, such el...

Looks beautiful ! (And I'm always a sucker for dual timezones and GMTs) Thanks Alex. Rob

and I am really looking forward to check it out in Basel - especially the two (sophisticated) pushers on the left :-) Thanks, Alex! Oliver

but then I spent a bit of time looking at your pictures, and I quite like these. LF has a style all his own - I hope to see one of them in the metal some day soon. Thanks for posting. Darren

Ferrier is the new 'classic' marque. All of the LF watches to date could be instant 'classics': timeless watches (if that is not oxymoronic). Here, though, there is something discordant - the 'clash' of the pure, clean, classic lines with the intrusions o...

best from LF for ME. I find the long minute indicators add an unnecessary business to the dial and the tallish 9 o'clock second time zone indicator doesn;t seem in line with the elegance that LF is capable of. A similar indicator with different colored nu...

...independents is truly awesome. This is truly the era of the independents. They make far more novel and interesting watches then the established brands. I kind of like this. I have yet to see LF in the flesh, but then I do have a inclination for simple ...

I like it even more than the time only. I'm assuming the tops and bottoms of GMT numerals will not stick in the window on the finished product. I think I'll be rendered senseless when he introduces his first chrono. It may kill me.
LF always oozes class and elegance.....

Beautiful and appropriate interpretation of dual time. The case as usual so sensual and beautiful. Rose gold black dial is a killer. Well done LF! I am wondering too what you picked up. Mo

Thanks for the report Alex! And no need to apologize for those photos, they're very good! I'd love to know if the second time zone is a 12H or 24H indication. I sincerely hope it will be a 24H indication so you easily know whether your better half is asle...
