The sweetness of De Bethune..

Feb 02, 2012,00:20 AM

comes in different forms and shapes.

You obtained one of the nicest DB,their dials are amongst the most beautiful and best executed around, the attention to details is second to none, especially in this case I like the contrast between the classic looking dial and the avant garde movement.

When you say that the finish is not a la Lange or Patek(depends on which model really),well, its definitely different (especially in your watch caliber)but not inferior.I visited the manufacture and that filled me even more with passion towards this brand.

I compliment you again for an outstanding piece.

We seem to share much in our passion for watches. 1815 and DB25 are also two in my drawer... However, I will have to view your post once and again while my DB25 comes back from service...not a fast thing at DB I must say... Thanks for sharing! Juan

Two representative watches we have in common
