I'm really very eager to see this.  Apparently the blue darkens to a near-black as it slopes downward under the indices toward the bezel (vintage Omega pie pan meets Moser fume).  I suppose it provides the same effect that one experiences as descending in the ocean.  Or maybe as the skies darken and rumble as a storm approaches.  So it's either soothing and calming or dark and stormy.  Perfect holiday gift for the bi-polar horophile on your list!

I am a big Moser fan, but I agree, they are hard to get. I guess you can turn it into a vacation.
