Very nice incomer
Sep 13, 2012,01:27 AM
I loved the UR110 but didn't like the other watches (202 etc), at all.
This one pleases me as it takes the nice visual aspects of the UR110, with the technical parts of the older models (making it smaller).
It seems really nice looking and the technics displays are still very highlevel.
The complication helping decide what adjustement needs making on the winding system is practical and much more interesting than the day/night indicator they had.
But I think it will also be very high in princing. I'd rather stay with the UR110.
Thanks for the news,
Cheers,
Mark

The URWERK UR-210 - Partly human Geneva – September 2012 The UR-210: Never has a timepiece displayed such feedback and attachment to its owner. In a first for a wristwatch, URWERK’s UR-210 highlights and monitors the symbiotic relationship between man and...

I love the creativity displayed in Urwerk's watches. I love classic designs too, but watches like this keep the vigor in the mechanical watch world, imho. Regards, Jon

Not sure about the partly human bit... more machine than human :-) Horo you are right and I thought the same thing and the DB24... just reinventing the wheel! Cheers Andrew
DB24 vs UR210
By: press1 : September 13th, 2012-02:17
Hello. The DB24 would be more like the UR-202 launched in 2008 by URWERK : a piece featuring twin turbines coupled with the winding rotor. These turbines are controlled by a 3-position selector switch. While the selector position is continuously variable,...
Thank you Yacine

And good to see you on here. I (and maybe Horo) was referring to the ability to switch in the 3 settings on the back to improve winding efficiency. The new complication/indicator you refer to is an interesting idea, the only thing is the indicator is on t...

Congrats again URWERK. As I will not see this piece for a long time (living on the opposite side of the world) I would be really interested to hear from people who have seen the UR-210 in the flesh and what they thought? Aesthetics etc of the new case? Sc...
