Water resistant?
Feb 20, 2013,02:15 AM
I am sure that the original plans (see his website) found in the Nautilus made some provision for that, especially with a crown designed after a valve
Imagine swimming with a triple-axis tourbillon, or snorkling around a reef to attract the curiosity of exotic fish.
Think of keeping it, when not worn, at the bottom of an aquarium as its box - or safe.
Consider filling the tank with piranhas so that an intruder will not go dippy diving for it with his bare hands.
Congratulations to the "proud new owner" !
May he enjoy it to the pressure
limits of water - and clever marketing.

The minutes are shown by the position of the leg holding the tourbillon. There is also a triangular pointer which you can see best in this picture: This is actually quite easy to see in reality, but seems difficult in the pictures because of the lack of d...

Thomas Prescher has an unique style and knows how to create a specific atmosphere. I love both watches, the complex and the "simple". The way the Tourbillon is emphasized is superb. Thanks Don. Fx
I always admire Thomas as a innovative watchmaker.....

But there is always something lacking from my humble perspective....the lack of a certain attractiveness or "ohm" factor. Having met Thomas in person, I must say he is certainly a quite a character, and comes across as a man with strong convictions of his...
