What a wonderful Christmas present, Jia Xian! . . .

. . . thanks very much for the interview. I've had the pleasure of meeting the lads from Athlone a few times, and even though I've mentioned this before, it's worth saying again: of all the watches I've ever seen that were produced in both platinum and rose gold, the McGonigle tourbillon is one of the few that is equally appealing in both. It's a cunningly well-balanced design aesthetically, and I look forward to a mechanically simpler design from their workbench that I could reasonably contemplate owning . . . cordially, Art

I am very impressed by the finish on the tourbillon, and the watch design shows off the tourbillon escapement perfectly. Most of the time the Claret-based tourbillons look very similar but the McGonigle is outstanding. - SJX

Insightful interview...
