Yep... it's 100% Habring2.

My embryonic tourbillon 3D.

Photobucket

The hands, dial and frosted finish are to my specification. I wanted something reminiscent of a marine chronometer, highly legible, ultra high quality but without excessive embellishment... for a purpose, and instrument not a toy. My inspirations were from IWC and Lange, Habring was a perfect choice.

It so happened that while Maria and Richard were perfecting the frosted finish they had an IWC cal. 53 in for renovation and were able to use it as a guide... how cool is that, then?

Richard and Maria have been a joy to deal with throughout, what's more the process of commissioning my first independent is also teaching me a new virtue, patience smile
