Well you can, even on these.
The hand in the inner eccentric circle is the minutes hand, to be read as always.
The inner eccentric circle moves around the dial and indicates the hours at the point where it is closest to the edge of the case.
Bernard Lederer's watches are not just beautiful to look at, but they are perfectly finished too so just holding one in your hand is a pleasure. I think a good part of why I like them so much is their feel and the completeness of the concept of the watches and their execution.
They are simply a joy.
