I have a couple more comparison shots
By: rovermark : January 11th, 2011-01:10
Here is the prototype with my Reverso GMT (since it was a Reverso themed gathering my GMT seemed like the right choice for the evening). Sorry these aren't as good as Ed's. I was so struck by the Reverso that I had to go back the next day to see it again....
Cool comparison shots

Maybe this could be my very 1st Reverso! Btw, would you happen to know, or be able to say if the special piece that is to be unveiled at SIHH would be a Platinum piece? Just what you know! Stephen
Thats one goodlooking watch
By: DaMctosh : January 11th, 2011-06:13
Thanks for the great photos and video Ed. Like everyone, I like the proportions on this Reverso. It seems just right, like a beautifully upsized GT case. I like especially the elegance of the lugs on the RT. BTW, it's ironic that they didnt think to ship ...
JLC did it right with this one
By: ED209 : January 11th, 2011-22:53
Hi Damien, Thanks for the kind words and for checking out this report. The proportions are really nice on this Reverso. Regards, ED-209
Is that the first re-edition of a re-edition ?
By: Clavi : January 11th, 2011-15:35
Actually the reverso with the '1931' dial has already been re-edited (in its original size though) 30 years ago So, that makes this 'tribute' the first re-edition of a re-edition Original re-edition: To me, there's nothing like the original... (note: the ...
I knew you would say that, Clavi.
By: amanico : January 11th, 2011-20:45
And you're right about the dial, as well as the fact that there was a re edition of the orginal Reverso, yet. I wondered if we still could say that this TT 1931 is an Ultra Thin. 7, 25 is thin, but to say that it is Ultra Thin, when the standard in this c...
Irresistible it is

The Grand Reverso 976....
By: DRMW : January 11th, 2011-00:45
Hello Ruckdee! The 976 was used to demonstrate how it didn't work on my wrist but I found that the Reverso Tribute to 1931 was perfect! Hope you get to see one in person, it's Awesome! -MW
Be more than content, Ruckdee
By: respo : January 11th, 2011-05:25
That 976 looks awesome on you your wrist. This is perhaps my favorite photo of the 976 "in action" -- I refer to it whenever I am thinking about the 976 -- which is pretty often. Best, respo

By: ED209 : January 12th, 2011-18:31
Hi Patrick, Hope everything is going well! Wish you could have joined us for the event, it was fun as always and the JLC Reverso 1931 prototype was stunning! So what do you think Patrick, the SS or the RG version? Regards, ED-209
The very strong point of this TT 1931 is the volume of the case.
By: amanico : January 11th, 2011-02:56
And you pointed it very well with all your comparison pictures. The size, of course, but most interestingfly, the thinness of this new Reverso. I can be wrong, and I need to see it in the flesh before any definitive judgement, but I have the feeling that ...
Nice and attractive.
By: dr.kol : January 11th, 2011-04:22
The SS model will be mine as soon as it appears to the market. Well done JLC! Best, Kari
Are the other non 1931 pieces the same price..?
By: Andy : January 11th, 2011-09:52
Obviously there are 4 models to choose from...the 2 versions for the 1931 re-edition and 2 more versions with different dials. Are these the same price or a bit cheaper than the special editions..? Have you seen this model yet Nico..? Yours, Andy.
Well, I guess we are all salivating now. ;-)
By: respo : January 11th, 2011-05:24
Ed, you and Seth read my mind! Ever since I heard of the RT 1931, I have wanted to see it and the Grande 976 side by side, and you have provided me with many shots here. Of course, I still have to see them both on the wrist, but this is very helpful. It i...
