The type of guy who knows that when you cut the plastic seal, you lower the auction value of the watch?
Or is my 5070P back from service?
Away for about 5 months, my 5070P is now back. Well, its in London until I get back fro vacation and then I will cut the plastic properly!
The 5070P was my very first Patek, some 5 years or so ago. I cut the plastic then and have never regretted buying this watch. Whilst on service for the last 5 months, I have really missed it. But, after a fabulous experience with Patek Salon in London (thank you Vikki and Kerri....superb service throughout...a credit to Patek), I picked it up in London yesterday. But as I am off swimming and climbing for the next two weeks, regrettably I have not opened the seal and worn it...that pleasure will have to wait. Here is one from before the service......

I don't like many Pateks but, with the Nautilus line, this is one of my top 3 Patek. Under plastic is like getting it new for the second time! I can imagine how you feel :) Cheers, Mark
Just got this one back after almost 10 months from HSWA. However, it came back around the same time as my Moser Perpetual 1 came from from Switzerland, so the unwrapping will have to wait another week. Getting two such watches back from service in a short...
