Imagine my surprise at seeing this piece! My wife actually owns the Chouette ring from Boucheron, so the styling of the watch was immediately obvious to me. Now she'll want the watch as well -- oh my... Nicely done! Best, Gary G

LOVE IT!!!! Damn, this is one of those watch where if you have to think about it, you probably hate it. Its belongs to a class whereby one do a doubletake, probably on the price, then either wrap it up or walk away digusted with oneself's inability to aff...

I think its lovely, well done Boucheron and Max.

I must admit to a bit of disappointment

 By: aaronm : October 5th, 2010-11:43
I was hoping for something more along the lines of the Boucheron/RM collaboration pieces, where the watch and jewelry aspects were given even weight. I feel here that the watch has been relegated to the scaffolding for a piece of jewelry, but that the jew...

Um, respectfully....

 By: asg : October 6th, 2010-11:36
I completely disagree with you. This watch is fantastic! Oh, and no matter what you think, all watches are jewelery. ALL. Even $15 tool watches. Its Jewelery.

And that is your right

 By: aaronm : October 6th, 2010-13:02
discussions would be so boring if everyone just agreed with me all the time It may be simply a difference in terminology. I was using 'Jewelry' to those parts of the aesthetic that are uniquely jewelry. If all watches are jewelry then we need to specify w...

Max Busser as John Galt? maybe even Robert Stadler :(?

as much as i wanna play Francisco Anconia, i am probably more the stowaway Allen.

RS perhaps

 By: Nomer : October 9th, 2010-15:13
Indeed - perhaps RS in a small way; certainly in independence and vision; now all we need is a watch made of Rearden metal!

Speachless.....

not a fan of bliging high piece of horology(the worst being the bling Gyro1 and Turbograph....nearly an horological rape!!!). Here we are in the presence of pure Art and Design, fantastic, tasteful, creative,so well executed. A real piece of jewellery backed...

Creative, and a very beautiful concept that is both creative and aesthetically attractive. Thanks for sharing!

I would wear this as a man...it's so beautiful that it is genderless.

I rarely expound an opinion in public

 By: MTF : October 5th, 2010-21:31
It is difficult to make a public comment about aesthetics or design because our PuristS credo is 'tolerance and acceptance of endeavour with passion'. The MBF 'machines' have always been polarising and were designed to be like that. If you don't upset at ...

Beautiful!

The coloring is exquisite. These are gorgeous but I don't know if I'd want to wear a bird on my wrist, lol. BTW, what is it with owls lately?

Superb, the best of each discipline, coming together in a beautiful creation.
