H. Moser Venturer Bucherer Edition

I've been eagerly awaiting the arrival at US ADs of the Venturer Small Seconds announced at Basel.  Now I see that they've released what to me is the loveliest version -- white gold case with midnight blue sunburst fume convex dial  -- so I pretty much decided that this would be my next addition.  Only to learn that it is sold exclusively at Bucherer stores in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.  And then to learn that Bucherer won't ship to US.  I'm no master of distribution, but I don't understand why a company would offer a non-LE at only one retail outlet and require potential customers (in this example, from US or AUS, say) to literally travel around the globe to obtain one.  Isn't that like dangling a carrot in front of a horse, then yanking it away when they try to grab it?

I'd still be interested in seeing live pictures of this to figure out if all the travel is worth it.  If anyone plans on being in a Bucherer and wouldn't mind taking and posting a picture along with impressions, I sure would appreciate it.  As we all know, media images can differ slightly from the actual piece.  But the one for this piece sure looks awfully good IMO...

but I'm already committed to travel elsewhere in 2015. I'm really very eager to see this. Apparently the blue darkens to a near-black as it slopes downward under the indices toward the bezel (vintage Omega pie pan meets Moser fume). I suppose it provides ...

I'll ask
