Last year I had the pleasure to see their watches for the first time. It was in January 2011, in Geneva. Some impressions from last year, first: (Couldn´t resist to create a background for my computer monitor, based on Guy´s pictures, afterwards ) As much...
Thank you so much for sharing both your impressions and these great photos. I agree with you that the "language barrier" seems to vanish in many ways when interacting with Mr. Ferrier -- the passion is obvious! By the way, I was still reading when you sai...

"the optical illusion splitting a single bridge into sections visually on the LF Tourbillon, and for me the finishing of the Tourb was a bit too Patek-like (clean, but not emotionally engaging) ..." Agree, but you should have a look at the Galet Micro-Rot...
What a great company. Messieurs Laurent Ferrier, his son Christian, Muller, Babasini and Navas. What a team. I was very fortunate to meet them together a couple years ago when the Micro-rotor was just an image on a computer screen. Your photos do justice ...
.. for my favorite brand, where I MUST visit sooner than later. I am even more intrigued by the micro-rotor. What can I do to replenish the bank account quick enough? Damn! Ken
It takes quite an effort to post such a wonderful report. And I always appreciate and respect your opinions. LF is on the verge of selling me a watch, but not quite there yet. Agree with Gary, there are some concerns regarding the bridge design of the Tou...
that would compete in the same category as this LF. My favorites that come to mind are PD's Simplicity, KV's Observatoire and Vingt-8, FPJ's CS (especially love the black label), VH's Classic, and PSM's Thalassa. I prefer manual movments for most watches,...
appreciated this behind the scenes look a lot. Now I want one of these micro-rotors - would you mind PMing me the reasonable price sometimes? Thanks Andreas
This dark grey dial is terrific, it brings something more and I think it is my favorite version. The Galet Micro Rotor seems to be thinner than I thought, which is good. I must see it one day ... especially the back. Thanks for the high quality pics Olive...
It is a shame I didn't have the time to visit LF. Did you see any of the new dials for the Gallet automatic? I very much prefer them to the current dial. - SJX This message has been edited by SJX on 2012-02-26 21:02:58
That is a very indepth coverage of your visit, Danke fur the photos! Also, i would like to ask about your opinion, you stated that you were not entirely convinced by their level of finishing across their products, are you referring to the Galet Classic to...
For such a detailed photos and in-depth report. I enjoyed reading about your findings and can hear your passion for the brand in your words. Like Stephen has already asked, I too would be interested in the answers. Regards Tony

thanks for your kind words. To answer your questions : My scepticism about a constant (!) high-level finish was last year and based about the Galet Tourbillon pieces I saw. It was not a big issue, but as I mentioned before we are talking about the Créme d...
Though on the contrary to you, my main focus is on the Galet Classic! I have held it on several occasions just last week, and maybe i can understand what you mean. My expectations too are very VERY high mein Freund, as the decision does not come lightly t...
