people who frequent the PuristS can be considered to be more seasoned enthusiasts of watches who arguably are more inclined to get somewhat "rarer" pieces than what the public would opt for? Rare in this context would be non-mainstream pieces that do significantly less ads on multi-media fronts? Either way, I better get to more GTGs to see more of the Independents then if that is the case! Always nicer to see those watches in use than in shop windows smile Thanks for sharing your observation AT...

It's always interesting to read other collectors' viewpoints on their collecting philosphies. Watches from Independents aren't really that "rare" when attending PuristS gatherings but are "rare" when comparing to the general public. And so, for me persona...
