I do find the design of 202 lovely too but I do feel the new auto function a bit of a gimmick. And honestly, does anyone will wear a 202 to do sport? Maybe driving around in a high speed Ferrari or Lambo ;-) Now I drool for a ALTin or TiAIN 201.........si...

Firstly, Clang, I get this sence you are directing your comment at me . Funny! John - When I was at at SIHH, I had the opportunity to spend about a hour with the 202. Many Fellow WIS who i was with were making fun of me the whole time, But I was entranced...

Seems silly and trivial even with a power reserve indicator. It is cool and fun though I suppose, which certainly counts for something.

Hi Seve, On many automatics, the rotor bearing and/or reduction train and/or reverser(s) and/or barrel are the first parts to wear out, so a good, controlled way to limit this wear is a good idea on some level. The problem is that keeping automatics wound...

If Urwerk accepts John's challenge, whether the turbines work as what it is intended, I take my hat off to our firends in Urwerk. Otherwise, I think the turbines in Urwerk is just like the turbine in Zenith. Regards Ling
